Smartphones have been growing in display size for years, and now foldable phones are joining the race for slimmer designs. Recently, news about the Oppo Find N5 being thinner than a standard pencil has captured attention. Meanwhile, tech giants Apple and Samsung are competing to lead the trend of ultra-slim smartphones. In this context, we have the latest renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Slim S25 flagship series.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature an ultra-thin profile of just 6.4mm, with dimensions anticipated to be 159 x 76 x 6.4mm—matching the size of its sibling, the Galaxy S25+. The key difference is likely in thickness, as the Galaxy S25+ is rumored to measure 7.3mm. Even with the camera module, the Slim model is expected to reach only 8.3mm thick, compared to the Ultra model’s rumored 8.2mm without the module. This gives a clear idea of how slim the Galaxy S25 Slim could be. The device is also expected to come with a large 6.7 to 6.8-inch display, similar to the Galaxy S25+.
On the design front, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature Samsung’s signature style, similar to other models, with a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup. The device is rumored to include a 200 MP main camera powered by Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with the ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. Samsung is also expected to introduce the new ALoP design technology for the telephoto lens, which will contribute to the phone’s slim profile. The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and running on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is not expected to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 alongside the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. However, a teaser or glimpse of the device might be revealed during the event. The phone is rumored to have a separate launch, likely in May.
