The OnePlus Nord CE5 has been making headlines recently, and it was just spotted on the BIS certification website with the model number CPH2717. This suggests that the launch is just around the corner. OnePlus might release the Nord CE5 by the end of May or in early June in India, which is slightly delayed compared to the usual CE series launch timeline.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE5 is expected to come with a flat frame and a flat back panel, moving away from the rounded edges seen on the Nord CE4. It features a vertical dual-camera setup, with a design that looks similar to the iPhone 16. The rest of the back panel has a clean look, with just the OnePlus logo placed in the center. From the image we can see it in link pink but the official colours may vary.

OnePlus Nord CE5 expected specifications

Recent leaks suggest that the OnePlus Nord CE5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. It is expected to come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ flat OLED display featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. One of the biggest upgrades could be its massive 7,100mAh battery, along with support for 80W fast charging.

The OnePlus Nord CE5 is expected to feature a 50MP main camera with the Sony Lytia LYT-600 sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera using the Sony IMX355 sensor. This setup drops the 2MP depth sensor found on the Nord CE4. For selfies, the phone will include a 16MP front camera. It is likely to come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Other expected features include a single speaker, hybrid SIM slot, IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. As for pricing in India, the OnePlus Nord CE5 is expected to be priced around ₹25,000, similar to the Nord CE4.
