Poco, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, is set to launch the Poco X7 series in India next week. In a separate development, Poco has officially discontinued its website in several regions. Last October, the brand announced plans to shut down its global website. The company has now started moving its product listings to Xiaomi’s official platform, where all upcoming Poco products will be available.

Poco X7 Series India launch date confirmed, featuring Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro

The global Poco website, po.co, along with regional sites in Europe, including British, French, and German ones, has been redirected to their respective Xiaomi websites. While the Indian site, poco.in, remains live, it hasn’t received updates recently. Xiaomi has introduced a dedicated section on its website to showcase Poco phones and accessories, ensuring they remain accessible to customers.

Reports suggest Poco is planning to enter India’s offline market to increase sales after primarily selling through Amazon and Flipkart. This shift aims to reach a broader audience. Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO recently made a similar move by expanding into offline retail.

The Poco Store app has also been discontinued. As per Poco’s notice, personal data will be retained temporarily in compliance with applicable laws and can be accessed through Xiaomi accounts. The company has reassured users that Xiaomi will continue to manage warranty and after-sales services as before.
